Over the past 6 years I’ve been becoming obsessed with photography. From Wildlife & Landscape Photography to documenting friends & family events, I’ve done a little bit of everything so far in my Photography “career.” Born and raised outside of rural Correctionville, IA, I grew up playing football, raising chickens, helping my family on the acreage, & in my free time drawing and playing the guitar. Once I graduated Iowa Lakes Community College, I moved out to Wyoming to begin my journey as a wind turbine technician & quickly fell in love with the mountains & wildlife that surrounded me. I wanted to capture it in an artistic way that I new from Art class but, my iPhone was not cutting it for me. Living in Laramie, WY I became friends with a photographer & realized, “Wow, regular people like me can really do this!'“ So, I got my first camera and lens and started shooting everything that caught my eye. From there I was hooked! I’ve always had a love for nature & love that I am able to get close enough to capture all the details of animals & the vast landscapes that Wyoming had to offer. I’ve now moved back to Iowa with my wife, Berenisse, & am close to home, in Ida Grove.
